The Laurie Court project involved stormwater maintenance for two detention ponds in the City of Manassas Park, Virginia. Muller completed the work for the City in February 2023 to address vegetation overgrowth, accumulated debris, and blockages affecting pond capacity and flow.
Crews drew down both ponds, cleared low-flow orifices, and removed trash and debris. Muller mowed and trimmed the embankments, cleared vegetation around inflows, outfalls, and control structures, and chipped and hauled woody material from the site.
Muller also removed mature woody growth and used jet/vac equipment to flush the control structures and outfall pipes. The completed work restored hydraulic flow, improved access to key stormwater components, and returned both detention ponds to operational condition.
