Henrico County Public Schools retained Muller to restore four Contech StormFilter vaults at a county high school in Richmond, Virginia. The underground filtration systems had accumulated sediment and debris to the point where each vault was underperforming and out of compliance with Virginia DEQ standards.
Each vault required confined-space entry before work could begin. Muller crews removed the 27-inch StormFilter cartridges, returned the cartridge cores to Contech for factory refurbishment, and then reinstalled the refurbished units. Sediment and debris were extracted with Muller’s in-house JetVac equipment and disposed of off-site.
