Our Finn Corporation T330 is gearing up for the busy fall hydroseeding season!
Not sure if you should consider hydroseeding your property? Read on to learn more about hydroseed and its benefits.
What is hydroseeding? It is a process that blends healthy soil, water, fertilizers, mulch, and seed. The mixture is applied to the ground with a HydroSeeder, like our T330 pictured below, to germinate seeds.
It will save you money: Hydroseeding usually ends up being 50-80% more cost effective than sod, especially when considering the intensive labor costs of sodding.
It's fast: What hand seeding can cover in half a day, a hydroseeder can cover in about an hour. And you can see the grass start to grown in just a week.
The land will look better: Hydroseeding soils typically germinate quicker because the soils hold more moisture than sods or hand seeded soils. The results are also better because the seeds have already adjusted to the soil, they are less likely to face external problems. Not to mention, a Hydroseeder ensures even, thick coverage.
Erosion Control: As erosion control experts, we can't recommend hydroseeding enough to protect land from stormwater, winds, pests, and sun.
